Subsea Cable Installation, Shore End Installation and Associated Services
Our sea cable installation barge NOSTAG 10 is specially designed for laying submarine power cables for offshore wind farms and island links. The vessel is fully equipped to carry out cable installation work in coastal areas and shallow water. With a length of more than 90 metres and a width of over 27 metres, plus a very substantial carrying capacity, it is ideal for the waters of the North and Baltic Seas, which will also be the principal areas of deployment.
Gravity Base Foundations
As a member of the Ludwig Freytag Group – Oldenburg, TAGU has developed a gravity base foundation system for offshore wind farms. It is designed for water depth between 25 and 50 meters as well as for 5 – 7 MW wind turbines. This innovative and cost efficient system neither needs heavy cranes nor special ships for installation on site.
